Good Morning Franck,

I can't help with Winfield & Mellisa. Sorry. I do have a question. I =
know you gather a lot of info on the Shelby's and their descendents, ... =
do you also collect photos? I just returned from a trip to Alabama, =
Fla, etc. and did go to the Cobb Confederate Cemetary in Jemison where =
I took photos of tombstones. I also have photos of my grandfather Leo =
Shelby Love and his family. If you are interested, let me know.

I am collecting photos and would be interested in any you or other =
Shelby listers might have of our ancestors & cousins ... and any =
tombstone images, and old homeplaces as well.

Have a Great Day!
Martha Mordecai

  Subject: [shelby research]HELLO

First time writing this list, thanks for letting me become a part. I =
am researching my line Moses and Mary Ann Knox Shelby NC>AL. I like to =
keep up with as many Shelby's as I can find. Just discovered a (new) =
Annabella "Bella" Shelby b. 1842 NC in Sumter Co. AL this week, she =
married Fred Rumley, b. AL., Nov. 26, 1867. Seven children according to =
1880 census. The 1870 census has Bella living next door to William and =
Ann Shelby all of the same approximate age (26). I am in need of the =
names of the children for Winfield and Mellisa Alexander Shelby, and =
Mellisa' parents. I have a hunch that this couple may be her parents. =
Anyone? =20

  Thanks

  Franck Shelby
