Hi,
I am a gg-grandchild of Andrew Jackson Price born in KY in 1818. He is the
son of William Price by KY 1797 and Rachel Dunn b. Harrison Co. KY 1797. I
am connected on Andrew Price's line through his eldest son, Andrew Price.
I am interested in your research on Louisa Price Shelby as I have searched
for contacts on this line for a while now. I have been trying to determine
the parents on William Price b. KY 1797 but have not been very successful.
There is a lot of research on the Dunn line tracing them back to Piscataway,
NJ. I hope you have some leads on William.
You mentioned that Louisa was born in Arkansas. I thought she was born in
Texas but you probably have more data on her. Where in Arkansas was she
born? I did not know that AJ Price was in AR that late, so I found it a
rather interesting new lead. Since Harrison Zephaniah Price, his brother was
born in AR, I had tried to locate where they may have lived or had land, so
I would appreciate any info you may have to share. These Price's seem to
attract land and received land grants from Texas in Smith, Collin, and Red
River Counties. Since William Price had children in KY, IN and AR there may
be trail of grants, although I have only found some of the Texas land.
Do you know when A J Price died and where he is buried?
Do you know the mother of Ida Bell Price? I believe she may have married a
Dean in Van Zandt or Kaufman Co., I don't have my notes handy.
I can't believe I just found your great web site, as I search the web a lot
when I can't get to the libraries and have never seen it before.
Regards,
Jeanie
