Hi Judith,
=20
I haven't participated in any discussions in a very long while and don't =
know if you even remember me. I have been following all the fascinating =
emails back and forth, and those who are lucky enough to go to Wales to =
visit.... I envy! I combed through your link below and would like to =
offer a correction if I could. You have John Paul Jones, Robert L's =
son's name incorrect. It should be just Paul Jones. I can also give more =
detail. Paul's son's name is Horace Jack married Sandra (?) they had 4 =
sons Mike (deceased), Timothy, James and William. I unfortunately do not =
know Paul's first wife's name. Then myself, Tina Braska married Randy =
with 2 children Matthew Alexander and Sarah Margaret. I can get you =
dates on above and also names and dates of Bruce and Joe's s children to =
add to the tree if you would like. Just let me know. Thank you all for =
keeping me in touch with family.
=20
Regards

Hi,
Seems like I stay swamped with other stuff!=20

Thanks for the great response! A Shelby Center in Tregaron sounds sounds =
like a major undertaking! Just what did you have in mind for this center =
and what would the board be doing?? Best place to post your idea would =
be on the SHELBY GENFORUM

Map..Not on my website..Back in early 1999, B. Franklin Reinauer III =
sent a letter stating: "While on a trip to London, I located Derlwyn =
(the property owned by Phillip S(h)elby in Tregaron Parish, Dyfed, Wales =
on an Ordanance Map..There is a footpath leading from Tregaron across =
the valley of the Afon Teifi over a foot bridge to Derlyn...." on the =
map it shows Derlwyn just NW of Tregaron

This will give you links to Tregaron, but can't say I have the old =
homestead pinpointed. There may not even be any land records to pinpoint =
it.
http://www.trolinger.com/judy/Judith4.htm

Then a bit later in the year, I heard from a person, who either didn't =
know what they were talking about, or was pulling my leg! Said they had =
been to the library in Aberystwyth and had looked at the records..but =
found that what I was told didn't match the [Shelby] christening records =
I finally received from another researcher. Anyway this person said the =
Shelby homestead was located precisely at the valley where the two =
rivers, the Croes and the Berwyn meet, within walking distance of =
Tregaron.

ships to america at that time. i had thought maybe somewhere nearer to=20
tregaron on the coast - like cardigan or aberestwyth.=20

i will be looking into setting up a 501-c-3 tax exempt organization with =
the=20
purpose of funding a "shelby center" and markers in tregaron. that way=20
donations are tax exempt. when i get the mission statement correct =
would like=20
to start setting up a board and you are one for sure that should be on =
this. =20
would love to find a shelby family attorney that would submit the =
paperwork at=20
no charge. i can fill it out. have done nonprofit work and fundraising =
for=20
years. i've got a few people too in tregaron who would probably be on =
the=20
board. do you have any other suggestions about shelby family devotees =
here?  i=20
have a few shelby relatives who would probably be generous both in time =
and=20
finances as well.  =20

i got a message about a map you have about where evan actually lived =
near=20
tregaron. i was told where the locals thought it was but would love to =
see the=20
map to see if i was anywhere close. where is that on your website? =20

thanks - will be in touch in the late fall as that and winter are the =
times i'm=20
most free to do my think and action work. best - shelby tabeling
