WELCOME TO THE SHELBY MAIL LIST! October 2006 Hi, Some things everyone needs to know- 1. Our web/home site, is privately owned and operated by our son David. 2. We will NEVER sell or give away this mail list or its content to ANYONE! 3. User name and password: I yelled the loudest when the genealogy message boards, etc, started requesting this..But sad to say it has become necessary in order to have some control over all the SPAMMING 4. We do not, and WILL not, accept advertising in any way, shape, or form- Except SHELBY related items that meet with MY approval. 5. This mail list is NOT a one way street!..Its for SHARING-It will be of no help to any of us if you don’t let us know who you are looking for by posting queries; share your data and sources, and help others when you can, etc, etc. Reminder: When you reply to a message and hit the SEND button ALL subscribers will receive it. Using Shelby
To post a message to all the list members, send email to shelby@mailman01.chi.us.siteprotect.com. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Shelby
Subscribe to Shelby by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
