Hi.  I am attempting to find out who my birth mother is/was.  I am sure, 
bases on a card written by my adopted mother that I was born on/or about 30 
Sep 1935 inor near Union County Tn.  I was raised by Walter/Almeda Salsbery 
(nee Shelby) in Kokomo, In.  Last Mothers Day my wife and I went to 
Knoxville, Tn and Mascot, Tn and some other towns in the area.  I did find 
some Shelbys who said I was a Shelby (based on my looks, etc).  I contacted 
Charles Shelby in Lext Ky, who remenbers my grandmother and grand father 
(Melvin Scott and Hazeltine Shelby(nee Shelby).  I can find no on who 
remembers an ALMEDA SHELBY MARRIED TO WALTER SALSBERY who was in Tn around 30 
Sep 1935.  Any help would be appreciated.  Also the last time we talked I 
understood you had a magazine available about the Shelbys and you were going 
to mail me one so that I could subscribe.  Or did I misunderstand.  Thanks.
